On Saturday, August 25, the Dayton AAYAT chapter hosted a picnic and the “Great Race” at Stubbs Park in Centerville. Nearly 30 youth participated in the event activities, which were planned one hundred percent by the Dayton AAYAT recruiting committee members: Mira Trivedi (chair), Frances Yen, Sumeta Sachdeva, and Annie Lee. Food was provided by two local restaurants which were provided with “Thank You Section” t-shirts from stand for their helpful efforts. After the picnic, participants played the “Great Race”, an “Amazing Race”-like game, in which they had to complete 10 stations in the shortest time to win. Stations included: DEBUNKIFY “Myth or Fact”, the Human Cigarette Wrap with toliet paper, tobacco Pictionary, the water balloon toss, “Walk the Plank”, tobacco charades, and more. The winning teams walked away with a stand/AAYAT gear prize pack.  Check out our pictures below….
